Mobile Parabolic Dish with SMA connection
Well this one is for you Hackers… I put Jasager on my Fon+ and the standard 1.5dbi antenna is way to weak to have any fun so we built this little device out of stuff laying around…..
This one came together like MacGuyver
I was driving home from work one day and seen this old Dish Network Satellite in a pile of junk waiting for the trash man, So i grabbed it for reasons unknown at the time just knew i would make something out of it.
Later on that week i go to a garage sale and find the camera tripod for $2.00 and thought hmmmm…..
What can i use this for well you guessed it made a quick release for the dish to the tripod added a SMA extension cable and a directional antenna and your favorite router (Fon+ with Jasager or my modded WRT54G). Works like a charm
Update: Will be adding biquad dish antenna instead of the 5dbi one now used!
This one time, at band camp, I farted into a parabolic dish, and the sound could be heard for miles!
